Service Description

You will receive a confirmation email once your appointment has been accepted. Disclaimer: abc Psychology Services accepts NDIS funding where assessments align with a participant’s plan goals and functional needs. It is the responsibility of the participant, Plan Manager, or Support Coordinator to ensure the service is eligible for funding.
Cancellation Policy
ABC Psychology Services provides psychological assessments and therapy to children and adolescents under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This policy outlines the terms for service delivery, invoicing, cancellations, and funding arrangements for NDIS participants. Services Available Under NDIS We offer the following supports using NDIS funding: Assessments Autism and ADHD assessments Cognitive and learning assessments Adaptive functioning and behavioural assessments Diagnostic reports for school or NDIS plan reviews Therapy Emotional regulation and behaviour support Social and communication skills development Anxiety, mood, and relationship-based support Parent consultation and psychoeducation Services may be delivered in clinic, at school, in the home, or via telehealth, depending on client goals and needs. NDIS Funding Types Accepted We accept: Self-managed – invoices are sent to the family to claim and pay directly Plan-managed – invoices are sent to the nominated plan manager NDIA-managed – services are claimed directly through the NDIS portal No upfront payment is required for any valid NDIS-funded appointment. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have sufficient funding available. Service Agreements A service agreement will be provided and must be signed before services commence. This outlines the nature and frequency of supports, funding category, reporting needs, and consent for communication with relevant professionals (e.g. school, paediatrician). Cancellations and Missed Appointments As per NDIS Pricing Arrangements: Less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the session fee may be charged Same-day cancellation or non-attendance: full fee charged Exceptions may apply in extenuating circumstances We encourage families to provide as much notice as possible to allow the appointment to be reallocated. Travel Charges Where therapy is provided at school or home, travel costs may apply. Travel is charged in line with NDIS guidelines, which may include: Clinician’s time spent in transit Kilometres travelled Relevant non-labour costs (e.g. tolls, parking) Travel will be discussed prior to service commencement. Report Writing Reports requested for plan reviews, funding, or collaborative care will be charged based on the time required to complete them, in accordance with the current NDIS hourly rate.
