ABOUT

Amy Capp

Registered Psychologist, BPsychSc (Hons), M.Psych

I am a AHPRA registered psychologist and the principal psychologist of abc Psychology Services, based in Mornington. I hold a Master of Psychology and am currently completing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. In addition to private practice, I work within the Department of Education Victoria at Mahogany Rise Primary School in Frankston North, supporting students with various needs in a community-focused setting.

I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents presenting with neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and emotional regulation challenges. I provide comprehensive assessments using gold-standard tools, including the ADOS-2, cognitive testing, and adaptive behaviour measures, as well as targeted therapy and school consultation.

I have a strong professional interest in childhood neurodiversity, with a particular focus on female presentations and children with a history of early developmental adversity. I am committed to reducing systemic barriers to support and ensuring that financial circumstances do not prevent children from accessing high quality assessment and diagnosis.

abc Psychology Services acknowledge the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land. We honour their Elders, past, present, and emerging, and their enduring connection to the land and culture.
