ADHD Assessment

Service Description

We assess attention, impulsivity, and executive functioning to determine whether your child meets criteria for ADHD. The assessment includes cognitive testing, behavioural rating scales such as the Conners, Vanderbilt, and BASC-3, a clinical interview with parents, and input from teachers, daycare, or kindergarten where relevant. A detailed report and parent feedback session are provided including a diagnosis if applicable, to guide school supports, behavioural strategies, and (where appropriate) medical referral. Medicare rebates may apply with a referral from a paediatrician or psychiatrist under item 82000 (Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorders Scheme). If your child has an existing NDIS plan and you intend to use NDIS funding for this assessment, please select “NDIS Participants” from the booking menu. Disclaimer: Use of NDIS funding is only permitted where the assessment directly supports functional needs, capacity building, or plan goals. It is the responsibility of the participant, Plan Manager, or Support Coordinator to confirm funding eligibility within the current plan.
