ADHD Assessment
Service Description
An ADHD includes assessment of attention, impulsivity, and executive functioning to determine whether your child meets criteria for ADHD. The assessment includes cognitive testing, behavioural rating scales such as the Conners, Vanderbilt, and BASC-3, a clinical interview with parents, and input from teachers, daycare, or kindergarten where relevant. A detailed report and parent feedback session are provided including a diagnosis if applicable, to guide school supports, behavioural strategies, and (where appropriate) medical referral. Medicare rebates may apply with a referral from a paediatrician or psychiatrist under item 82000 (Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorders Scheme).
Cancellation Policy
We require at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a full session fee. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to make changes to your booking.
